Tonight I am thrilled to be shining the light on the gorgeous and very clever Krissy Ropiha of Her Nourished. Krissy is as gorgeous as she is multitalented and was an absolute pleasure to work with - the sky is truly the limit for Krissy's business! One of my favourite parts about her business and brand are the values that sit behind it. Krissy's passion of helping women - busy mothers - is very clear to see, and the engagement she has with her clients and community is testament to this. I'm sure Krissy won't mind me saying I am quite sure she will be one of Australia's best known identities in the field of women's health and nutrition - she has star written all over her! Do yourself a favour and head over to Krissy's website and get involved - and have a read through her story below x
I am thrilled to be kicking off my new blog series, Client Catch Up, tonight with the wonderful and very talented Ania Drouet. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know my client's businesses, and more specifically that moment when I see all the potential, ready to be capitalised on! Ania specialises in 'places, faces and spaces' - property & interiors, and brand and headshot photography for business owners. I love her style and can't wait to see more wonderful work from her! Tonight I am super stoked to be shining the spotlight on the gorgeous Clare Mould from Progressive Legal. I am fortunate in that in my job, I meet lots of other awesome business owners - I find there's no shortage of things to get excited about and inspired by. I've got to say though, when I came across Progressive Legal and the awesome things they are doing in the SME/entrepreneur space, I felt like jumping for joy. I connected with the founder of Progressive Legal, Ian Aldridge, via LinkedIn a while back, and unlike many of the connections I have on LinkedIn he touched base with me to chat over the phone. Which was great - Ian and I got on swimmingly and realised that we had both been at the New Beginnings Fair as exhibitors in Sydney last year. Hearing about Progressive Legal's vision and their revolutionary product Legal Shield, designed specifically for entrepreneurs and small business, I was thrilled and knew I wanted to spread the word far and wide. I had also heard wonderful things about Ian's Senior Lawyer Clare, based here in Perth, but had never met her. Similarly when Clare & I connected over coffee, I felt like high fiving her (and maybe I actually did...)! Clare is so approachable and friendly and dynamic, and the perfect fit for the Progressive Legal brand. Do yourselves a favour and if you're not familiar with these guys, you need to be. Clare has written a VERY relevant blog piece for us tonight and I can't wait for you to read it. Read more from these very exciting trailblazers below x
Tonight I am super excited to be shining the spotlight on the Perth-based Tammy Wayne-Elliot, founder of TWE PR & Marketing. PR is something I feel like a lot of small business owners need to know a lot more about, and use as a really viable and powerful part of their growth strategy. Often investing in a great PR campaign can be so much more powerful for your business than other forms of A&P, yet for some reason a lot of business owners don't consider it. Well, I want that to change! Tammy's written a great blog post for tonight's feature on PR and what it can do for your business. Enjoy! x
So chances are if you're an entrepreneur (or an aspiring one), you would have heard about finding your 'why'. Your 'why' is basically the reason you're in business; that is, what drives you. What gets you out of bed in the morning, what excites you, what difference you are trying to make in the world. It sounds like a pretty simple thing to identify, right? Not always. In tonight's blog post, I want to dig a little deeper - and give you five reasons you need to get real with your why.
