Who are you?
I am a registered BAS Agent, award-winning MYOB Certified Consultant, Xero Certified Advisor, Kounta Advisor and the owner of Brookes Books.
What do you do?
My aim is to assist and empower small business owners, especially women, in managing their business finances and ATO compliance. The majority of my time is spent consulting with new and existing business owners on the correct accounting software package and providing assistance in the areas they maybe struggling with.
What is your business?
We provide a variety of services, which include; Accounting software solutions, point of sale cloud solutions, one on one and group training, consulting, as well as a range of bookkeeping and BAS services. We also work in conjunction with the two leading software companies in Australia, MYOB and Xero.
How does your business help the busy business owner of today?
My business focuses on the day to day running of a small business. I find the majority of my clients feel overwhelmed when it comes to keeping their BAS up to date or remembering when they need to lodge their superannuation. With our focus on cloud accounting, we take the pressure off managing GST, invoices, expenses and payroll. Brooke’s Books is a support hub to give business owners the freedom to get back to what they do best.
Anything new on the horizon?
Yes, I am currently working on a new business adventure, which will create a warm environment and provide a holistic approach to your business. This will include a successful business relationship from concepts to advice to training to support and compliance.
