When I first met Kirsten I was so thrilled she'd found me - Kirsten is one of those people that just grabs life by the neck and gives it her all - no matter what she does. Obviously I know all about you and your awesome business - but please tell the readers a little more about your business and what makes you unique?
It was 2006 when I joined the finance industry where I worked from one company to another, providing financial services to my clients. However, there was something missing. I felt unaccomplished. There is a false security in the corporate world. Being a pro-active, go-getter, and competitive individual that I am, I took that leap of faith. I branched out on my own, started a mortgage company which is built on referrals. Two years later, Soul Finance Group is becoming a recognised finance company in Perth.

Competition is tight in my industry but I’d like to think that what sets my business apart is my focus on my clients. I can’t reiterate enough that it’s always about putting your clients’ needs first.
What’s been going on since we caught up?
I’ve recently added two Finance Brokers to my company. I have been training them for the past 12 months and I’m loving the progress. I’m still on the lookout for one more broker since I’m really serious about expanding my business. Not only will it positively affect my sales target, but also I love opportunities where I can share my knowledge to finance professionals within my industry. Marketing-wise, we hit our target numbers for our social media accounts and I couldn’t have done it without the insights Lanna has been providing me.
One of my finance brokers, Mike Hawtin, has recently been awarded as a state finalist in the 2017 MFAA Awards Excellence under the category Motor Vehicle and Equipment Finance Broker Award.
What was your favourite part about our coaching sessions?
My favourite part is when I’m having those ‘aha’ moments—where Lanna shares her marketing insights and it finally does make sense with my business! I love how I can share with her my struggles and success and be able to witness the progress. I always find myself looking forward to our meetings because I know it's another learning session that I would excitedly apply to my business at the end of the day. She has provided up-to-date insights that have effectively contributed to the growth of my company. Through her, I was able to meet fellow boss babes and business owners which has served as an avenue in widening my network.
What are you focusing on for the rest of the year?
Expanding my business and focusing on my clients. My clients had served as one of the pillars in this success. Had it not been for them, I won’t be able to achieve the kind of passion I have right now. I am consistently improving my business to serve my clients better. It is in my best interest to provide them the most quality service they deserve. It is when I’m able to make their dreams a reality, whether helping them get their dream house or dream car, or just relieve them the burden of high mortgage payment, that I know I am where I should be. Finance is such a vital factor in any household and I’m glad I can offer my expertise to anyone needing it
